Getting Started

The first step in your vision correction journey begins with an initial consultation. During your first visit with us, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the various advanced procedures we offer and discuss our technological innovations. San Francisco eye surgeon Dr. Kawesch will closely examine your eyes and develop a vision profile based on your unique characteristics.

Mapping Your Eyes

Once you've made the decision to move forward with Custom LASIK vision correction, you'll undergo a unique eye mapping process with a sophisticated measurement tool called Wavefront. The 3-D Wavefront mapping process measures how light travels uniquely through your eye and provides Dr. Kawesch with the data he needs to deliver truly customized LASIK results. The data is then programmed in preparation for your treatment.

LASIK Day

Your actual LASIK procedure will take about 15 minutes or less. After your eyes receive some gentle numbing drops, the laser is focused on your corneas and reshapes them to your unique vision specifications. Many patients experience very quick visual recovery and can even see the clock on the wall right after the procedure!
