BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is an injectable treatment that can improve your facial appearance by reducing frown lines, wrinkling, and creases in your forehead. Your BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment will give you a smoother, more relaxed appearance that makes you look much younger and more rejuvenated. BOTOX® Cosmetic is most commonly used around the eyes and forehead, although it can be an effective treatment option for other regions of the face as well.

The primary ingredient in BOTOX® Cosmetic is Botulinum Toxin Type A, a nerve impulse blocker that binds to nerve endings and prevents the release of chemicals which cause your muscles to contract. These contractions often result in the formation of wrinkles. However, when these chemicals are blocked by BOTOX® Cosmetic, your facial muscles will relax, providing you with a more youthful appearance.

The Treatment Process

Dr. Gary Kawesch will administer several small injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic directly into the muscles responsible for causing the wrinkles and frown lines in your face. There is no anesthesia required, and the entire procedure can be completed during your lunch hour.
