While LASIK can correct most prescriptions, there is no way that we can guarantee everyone’s vision will be perfect following their LASIK procedure. However, nearly all the patients leaving our San Francisco, California LASIK office are able to pass a driving test without the use of glasses or contacts.

Since ophthalmologists began using the LASIK procedure, huge advancements have been made in the technology. Today, our skilled LASIK eye surgeons are able to improve almost anyone’s vision, but there are some LASIK limitations. For instance, LASIK cannot correct cataracts, a lens condition that often develops after mid-life and causes progressive loss of vision.
